Currituck waterpark plans expansion in 2019.

It looks as though after a successful first year, H2OBX is hoping to get bigger and better. Not right away but in 2019, plans call for more rides and maybe some additional restaurants and a motel. Check out Jeff Hampton’s story in The Virginian Pilot for details.

“The first season of the H2OBX Waterpark was successful enough that developers plan on adding rides in 2019 and foresee shops, restaurants and a hotel coming to nearby properties.

This year’s opening is scheduled for Memorial Day weekend and interviews for summer jobs begin soon, said Brian Czarnecki, chief operating officer of Camelback Resort, the parent company of the Currituck park.”
