double the music = double the obx fun

Gorgeous fall weather and two great music festivals over Columbus Day weekend means the Outer Banks has become the place to be for music lovers and spectacular settings. Mustang Music Festival rocked it out in it’s new location at the beautiful historic Whalehead Club, and the Duck Jazz Fest took advantage of a perfect cool breeze on the Town Green. This article by Kip Tabb, writing for the North Beach Sun, gives you a feel for all of the excitement.

“Columbus Day Weekend, the Outer Banks, 2014 . . . a weekend that will enter the history books as spectacular.

With a new venue to call home at the Whalehead Club and room to spread out and grow, the Mustang Music Festival really seemed to be climbing to its potential.

Spectacular weather and a great lineup brought the crowds out to the 8th Annual Duck Jazz Festival.”
