ocracoke firefighters save pirate’s chest!

Ocracoke Volunteer Firefighters quick work saves the day.

“This is why Ocracoke loves the women and men of the volunteer fire department.

The 9-1-1 call went out at 1:20pm on Wednesday, November 29th: Pirate’s Chest gift shop was on fire! Smoke and flames from the attic and roof of the building greeted the volunteer firefighters and community members who answered the call.”
