Country Deli Moving to Kill Devil Hills
For 41 years the Country Deli has been serving massive sandwiches with a heaping side of attitude from their Nags Head Location. Matt Haskett writing for the Outer Banks Voice gives the inside scoop on their upcoming move to KDH.
“One thing that nearly all Outer Banks residents have in common is that we all have a relationship with the Country Deli.
Our stories vary and range from the mundane to treasured memories. Some may just grab a quick take-out lunch there, but it’s also where many of us first tried that bottled soda we love before they were ubiquitous.
Some may just get delivery to their work, but a few surfers received subs delivered right at the beach access on a day the waves were so good that it was unthinkable to leave.”
