mustang spring jam ready to wow obx
The highlight of the spring music scene on the Outer Banks has got to be Mike Dianna’s Mustang Spring Jam, happing this Sunday in Corolla at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room. Two stages, non-stop music with a great line-up of bands, good food, and there is even more to it than that. Mike tells the story of how and why he started the Mustang Music Outreach program that has mentored kids in their musical careers in this awesome video from Currituck County Travel and Tourism, complete with great tunes in the background.
“Get to know Currituck from the Locals’ perspective.
The Mustang Spring Jam is a yearly music festival in Currituck, which became so popular that it spawned the Mustang Outreach Program, in which young kids learn musical instruments and practice with local bands and artists.
Founded by Mike Dianna (musician, cook, restaurateur), the festival offers a time for friends, families and total strangers to gather together and enjoy good food and sweet tunes. The Mustang Festival attracts larger crowds each year, despite it’s remote location in the Outer Banks.
Hop in on this jam sesh early, while there’s still room!”
