Returning for a third year, the Outer Banks Children at Play Museum is bringing back their popular “Movies on the Sound”.
Showing every Friday evening from June through August, the series features great family movies for kids and their parents to enjoy under the stars.
Movies include classic and modern hits–Mary Poppins, Monsters University, Harry Potter, Frozen and the Little Mermaid are just some of the titles being shown this summer.
The venue will change with the month. In June, movies will be shown at the Outer Banks Event Site in Nags Head; in July, look for the movies at the College of the Albemarle Ball Field in Manteo; and in August, Duck will host the series at their Town Green Amphitheater. There is a $10 per car fee charged at the Nags Head site, but other that that there is no charge for any of the movies.
The Children at Play Museum is located at the Buccaneer’s Walk in Kitty Hawk. The museum offers a wide variety of educational games and activities for younger children.
