“WeddingWire, one of the nation’s leading online wedding marketplaces, has named Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head as the winner of a prestigious WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award 2015.
Facility Rentals Coordinator Michele Bunce accepted the award for the pier. “It’s an honor to receive such an award from our brides and one of the leading wedding resources,” she said. The WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards recognize the top five percent of wedding professionals in the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism, a company spokesman said.
Bunce said the pier staff helps her achieve the excellence required for such an honor. It’s the second award in the past couple of months received by the pier. Jennette’s also landed the esteemed Best of the Knot 2015 in January.
“We are so blessed to have an incredible and caring staff who truly love the organization and everything we do here,” she said. “They enjoy helping the visitors and take pride in being a part of their experience here on the Outer Banks.”
Nationwide, the esteemed WeddingWire awards are given to the top wedding vendors in more than 20 service categories, from wedding venues to wedding photographers, based on their professional achievements from the previous year, said Timothy Chi, CEO of WeddingWire.
