“An Eye for Art, a Heart for History is open to all artists, and those with a creative flair. This juried show will showcase the many aspects of the heritage and history of the Outer Banks and surrounding regions through a variety of mediums. Paintings, photographs, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, fiber arts and other works that represent some aspect of the region’s past will be considered for inclusion. If you need a little inspiration, visit the Outer Banks History Center to view its extensive collection of historical photographs and original works of art.”

Not an artist, but an art lover? Join them for the opening reception, hosted by the Friends of the Outer Banks History Center, February 28th, 2014 from 5:30—7:30 p.m. at the OBHC. The show will remain open for viewing daily through December 31, 2014.
