Twenty years of great food and great times at Ocean Boulevard. Hard to imagine that Donny King has managed to keep things as fresh and fun as the day he opened. We have a wonderful article from Jim Trotman writing for the Outer Banks Voice about how Donny and his wife, Heather, have managed to keep the good times rolling since 1996.
“We could not let Ocean Boulevard’s 20th anniversary go by without a visit. With two decades under its belt, the upscale restaurant on the Beach Road in Kitty Hawk continues its tradition of innovative cuisine and Southern hospitality.
In the early 1990s, Those Two Guys Inc., whom we know as John Power and Sam McGann of The Blue Point in Duck, were looking to expand their operations. The Virginia Dare Hardware building, built in 1948, was empty and available.”
